A Gentleman's Guide on How to Treat Strippers

Most people know the basic rules of stripper etiquette. Thats not to say that everyone respects and adheres to these rules (many dont), but theyre still relatively well-known. That aside, the more respectable gentlemen among us are very careful about how they conduct themselves in the company of strippers. Their composure in the clubs and private parties should be an inspiration to us all.

If youre looking to boost your respectability among strippers, keep the following rules in mind:

ü  Respect her stage name.
No,
her name is not really Destinyor Angel, Candy, Cherry, Porsche or Desiree, for that matter. But the stage name is there for a reason. Dont delude yourself to think that she has been so charmed by you that she is going to tell you her real name. For your purposes, her name isFantasia. Leave it at that.

ü  Tip her like you mean it.
Unless
you dont really mean it, in which case you should just tip her anyway. Youre a gentleman in a gentlemens club, and your role is to keep this service and establishment running. Are you amazed by her skills on the pole? Let her know that with an encouraging cheer and a handsome tip. In fact, you could probably leave the cheer out altogether. Likewise, anyone that obviously shows you a bit of extra attention is probably doing so because she can sense that youre the kind of gentleman who rewards that sort of behaviour. Dont prove her wrong on this one.
Tip her like you mean it, after all you're a gentleman.

ü  She is not a prostitute.
And
even if she is, the fact that she is a stripper certainly does not make her a prostitute. Treat a womana professional dancer whos an expert at her craft and has turned that into a handsome living. If your goal is to behave like a gentleman in the company of Gold Coast strippers, then you need to treat them with a hefty dose of dignity and respect.

ü  When youre getting a chair dance, consider yourself part of the chair.
We all know the rules about no touching, groping or grasping at the stripper while she dances. This is actually a serious offence that can be punished by law in certain places. Even if not, it can certainly be punished by the bouncers. The best way to approach a chair dance is as an extension of the chair itself. Let yourself be an inanimate article of furniture that she dances with, and shell see to it that you enjoy the experience. Shes a professional, after all, and shes probably much better at anticipating your needs than you are.

ü  Dont waste her time unless youre ordering a dance.
In
most establishments, strippers make the best money when someone actually orders a dance from them. If you want to talk to her, the least you can do is buy her a drinkand then a couple more depending on how long you talk. Beyond that, you better be tipping big or at least planning on ordering a dance from her. This is her job, after all, not a hobby that she indulges in hopes of meeting someone as ravishingly good-looking as you are.
This is her job... and what a job they do!

ü  Understand that there is no reality in which she wants you to kiss her.
No
matter how wantonly she is staring into your eyes; regardless of how many times she has brushed past you or sent you an electrified glanceshe really is just working. Her job is to push your manly urges into high gear; and your job is to restrain them. Its the conflict and frustration that make the entire experience enjoyable.
